do you like going to work? Me neither! See how I got around that and got paid too!
Deadpool 2 is tracking for a $150 million opening weekend and has been releasing trailers and photos to introduce the members of Deadpool’s new X-Force. One of those team members, Peter (played by Rob Delaney), has no mutant powers, but he’s part of the team anyway, seen skydiving into action in the final trailer.
The character also has his own Twitter account, where he revealed over the weekend which mutant is being played by Bill Skarsgård (who also played Pennywise in the It remake).
We’ll have to take his word that Zeitgeist is a nice guy, although he forgot to tattoo the word please above the throat tattoo that says “Eat sh*t and die.”
So who is Zeitgeist anyway? He’s a mutant with the power to spew acidic vomit. You might be thinking, “So what? I can spew stomach acid all over the place every Thursday night.” But Zeitgeist’s acidic vomit is a much larger biohazard. This next detail about the comic books might be a spoiler, so skip past the rest of this paragraph if you don’t want to know. The character was introduced in X-Force #116, and he also died in the same issue. It was a real roller coaster ride for for emetophiliacs who started getting their hopes up for an eight issue vomit arc.
Peter also posted some new photos of his other X-Force cohorts Domino (Zazie Beetz), Bedlam (Terry Crews), and Shatterstar (Lewis Tan).
That’s a solid Nathan Fielder reference with that last photo which Peter definitely didn’t take himself.
Deadpool 2 opens May 18th if you want to go out on the town with a bunch of friends.
